Mrs. Taylor is a recognized leader in the Bucks and Montgomery County family law arena. She brings to her clients almost 30 years experience in Family and Personal Injury Law. A published author, Mrs. Taylor is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. She began practicing law in Ocean County, New Jersey in 1978 as a Legal Aid attorney. After moving to Pennsylvania in 1980, Mrs. Taylor served as a Bucks County Public Defender and then as Solicitor for Bucks County Domestic Relations Section, Family Court until she entered private practice in 1985. She opened her own office in 1997.
Mrs. Taylor is also the founder of Bucks for Kids, a nonprofit organization incorporated in 1990 that provides funds for foster children receiving services through Bucks County Children and Youth Services Agency. She is an active member of both the Bucks County Bar Association, serving as Chair of the Solo Committee since 2000 and the Doylestown Business and Community Alliance.
Fees
After an initial consultation, Mrs. Taylor will discuss with you the fee structure that applies to your case. Most cases require a retainer, a lump sum payment that is placed in her trust account, from which fees are drawn as work is done. The amount your retainer is based upon the complexity of your case.
You will receive copies of all correspondence and pleadings. All decisions regarding your case are made by you in consultation with Mrs. Taylor. You are in the driver’s seat. You will be sent detailed and timely invoices. You are charged for all time spent on your case, phone calls, appearances and consultations.
